Christina is a recent graduate of St. John's University, where she completed her MA degree in English Literature. She is returning to St. John's for the coming fall semester to begin her studies in Library and Information Science. Her career goal is to become an academic librarian, so she can blend her interests and experiences in literature, libraries, and education to serve the library community in the current technological age. Christina has previously focused most of her research on the literature of the Victorian and Medieval eras, which is how she first became interested in the role of libraries in academic settings. She has since worked to become involved in the conversation on the future of libraries, and has written a collaborative piece with her peers on this topic. Christina is dedicated to exploring this question throughout her career, and to emphasizing the ever growing importance of libraries within academia. She is enthusiastic about working at EdLab to continue to immerse herself in new and dynamic projects that reflect the role of the library in the age of information.
