Mable is a product/community manager intern at Edlab. She is currently a rising junior at Columbia College, majoring in Psychology and Business. During the school year, she is the Assistant Manager at the Columbia Business School at the Career Management Library, where she is constantly updating the website, while helping Business school students with the many resources the library has to offer. Her first year at Columbia, she worked at the Columbia University Student Call Center as a Tele-funding Representative, where she called alumni to help fundraise for the different schools within Columbia University for financial aid, student life, and more. There, she raised over $7,500 alone for Columbia University. That year, she was also the Programming Chair for Columbia’s on-campus community service club, Circle K, which does a lot of volunteer work at hospitals, parks, and charity events.
During high school, Mable danced classical ballet intensively, competing in many international competitions, often traveling across the country to perform, while maintaining a cumulative 4.6 GPA. The summer of 2010, she was one of ten American students accepted by the 6-week long NSLI-Y Program to train at the Bolshoi Ballet Academy in Moscow, fully funded by U.S. State Department. After being accepted to the prestigious academy’s year-long program, Mable took the opportunity to study abroad for her senior year, while completing her high school online and was eventually awarded to be her school’s Valedictorian. She lived in Moscow for one semester, studying ballet and Russian at the Bolshoi Ballet Academy. The rest of her senior year, she spent attending the Chinese Language and Culture program at Tsinghua University in Beijing. Mable is currently enrolled in Advanced Chinese at Columbia University.
In her free time, Mable loves cooking, traveling, and hanging out with friends. She is very excited to be joining the EdLab team!
