Nate has a diploma from St. Mary’s School in Augusta, Maine where he studied French, Mathematics, Science, English, and Social Studies from the age of 5 to 15. He then attended St. Dominic Regional High School in Auburn, ME--which just so happens to be the Harvard of Catholic High Schools in the Lewiston-Auburn area--to continue his studies in these areas. He graduated with honors, receiving such recognition as Effort in French. To the surprise of his friends and family, Nate decided to put off his plans to head to New York City in 2010 and took a gap year, where he explored careers in clothes-folding and cart-relocation before flying to Georgia and walking back to Maine. After his 5 month hike, Nate moved to Brooklyn, NY to attend St. Francis College in Brooklyn Heights. After a successful night of shmoozing at the EdLab Christmas Open House, Nate made some friends in high places and scored an internship as a member of the Video Team, where he began his prestigious career as a B-Roll actor. You may recognize him as “that graduate student on the grass” or “the back of the head of that guy watching the Onion video” in the Online Learning video for the UFR series.
