Yudan is a software engineer at EdLab. He got his MS in Computer Science from Polytechnic Institue of NYU in 2010. His main task at EdLab
is to bring educational and tech expertise to design and deliver new educational software apps.
Yudan has been working on the development of projects including Vialogues, Pundit, Roomer, Edfluences and New Learning Times. He works with a group of people
on all phases of the development cycle, including design, specification, development and delivery. He's also active in making proposals for new projects.
Apart from developing, Yudan has been providing technical support for a number of existing projects including PocketKnowledge, Pressible, TCRecord, NSSE, DocDel, etc.
He was responsible for migrating/upgrading some of the above-mentioned products as well as other projects including the Collab system and the Ticket system.
In addition, he was involved in the initial server setup for projects including ResearchBroker, RockAndRoll and YoungArts.
Yudan has a few goals in his work. The major ones of them include 1) through working closely with educators, researchers, get to know more about what is needed or expected in the educational sector;
2) collaborate with colleagues in coming up with plans for service and products that can effectively address problems;
3) use new technology to carry out the plans and grow the tool set that can be used by EdLabbers for developing.
Yudan is pursing his goals in all aspects of his work.
