Making Room to Learn: Redesigning the face of K-12 Schools
The design of K-12 schools and classrooms has not changed in over 150 years. Why? In this seminar, Jane Zhang and Grace O’Shea share their journey of co-founding room2learn, a social venture with a mission to transform school spaces everywhere into 21st century-ready learning spaces. We will share our learnings from visiting schools around the country and building the largest crowdsourced database of learning space designs on the web. Learn why R&D is the most important step in designing learning spaces, and beta test the first digital co-design tool.
