EdLab Seminar: Explore how Flocabulary makes classrooms more culturally responsive
Note: This event will take place in the Smith Learning Theater on the fourth floor of Russell Hall.

Flocabulary is a culturally responsive learning platform whose mission is to increase achievement by bringing joy to the classroom. In this Edlab Seminar, Emily Helfgot, VP of Learning, and Tierney Oberhammer, Director of Production, will discuss five ways that Flocabulary contributes to a culturally responsive classroom: representation, explicit and implicit social and emotional learning, student voice, youth culture, and global citizenship. Expect a 40 minute presentation with mixed media followed by Q&A and discussion.
