Internship Program

EdLab runs academic year and summer internship programs for undergraduate and graduate students interested in gaining experience in a production environment in education. All internships are paid.

Academic year internships are available to students and recent graduates from TeachersCollege, Columbia University, and other educational institutions in the surrounding area.Internships can begin at any time consistent with project team needs.

The EdLab Summer Internship Program is available to undergraduate and graduate students from all educational institutions. The program runs from the middle of June to the middle ofAugust. Applications are considered on a rolling basis throughout the year.

Applied Statistics
We collect, analyze, and interpret various types of data to study applications/systems, evaluate organizational investments, and inform new development projects. The intern in this area will work with a team of researchers to model data, develop predictive analytics, and apply forecasting methods in an effort to pioneer new metrics for enhancing educational opportunities. EdLab's (NLT) covers developments in learning for an audience of innovators, entrepreneurs, and all those aspiring to create the new learning sector. Motion Graphics and Multimedia Internship
EdLab partners with educators to create ambitious environments, tools, and resources to optimize learning experiences. The motion graphics and multimedia intern will work with a team of designers and producers to enhance educational opportunities at EdLab and in the Smith Learning Theater. The Smith Learning Theater provides an experimental environment that can be configured and curated to support ambitious learning, teaching, and research activities in the library.
