I came across this blog post that addresses privacy issues. It lists privacy issues related with following features -
1. Archiving - keeping user data forever makes them uncomfortable.
2. Real time - Real time update of the user data. Blog gives example of Google reader which captures new data quickly but takes time to update it.
3. Search - Search engine optimization is new buzz. But websites like LiveJournal are protecting user data by making website LESS search engine friendly.
