Indeed a good post. However, it seems to be very limited in the light of what AI-enthusiasts are predicting the AI-future to be. I find what Noam Chomsky said regarding the limitation of Ai at MIT symposium on Brains, Minds and Machines in 2011 and thereafter more plausible. But, if what others like Stephen Hawking have said regarding AI, there being no limitations in Physics as to what AI can achieve, becomes reality, being human will be a struggle.The following points are worth consideration: 1) Competing for jobs implies two things: first, human labour will be qualitatively or economically more feasible which doesn't seem to be the case. Secondly, it undermines the very inherent nature that the AI-enthusiasts are attributing to AI: they will not only achieve human level intelligence but will also surpass it. 2) The way technology has been used to manipulate human behaviour in order coax them to behave in a particular manner, the process of AI seems to be two-fold: on one hand, human beings are making AI more and more intelligent and on the other hand, AI is being used to make humans not use intelligence through behavioural control or manipulation.The issue pertaining to racism and gender bias are coming from humans to AI. If these and like become underlying guiding principles of AI and thereafter, AI becomes intelligent enough to self-replicate and "improve" it, the situation is likely to go out of control.Thanks, Paramjeet LL.M. The show-like presentation is just one example of the use of this kind of environmental media. In show mode it breaks down the barrier between the screen and the space and in so doing it can draw in the participants. This begins to address the limitations of screens in the Learning Theater.  Media on screens draws attention away from the space -- but media that uses space beyond the typical screen should be able to bring attention to the space (or keep it there).  One approach is to use "all the space" through large projections like we do on the back wall.  Another approach is to use displays that spill out of the typical rectangle as they do on the walls behind the person in the Patriot Act example. Using the floor is another approach shown in this example.  Making the media more interactive as we did with the Mars data on the back wall or as we did with the FFSS financial information on the back wall takes things one step further by using environmental scale media and adding interaction. Because we have control over both the digital environment and the physical environment in the Learning Theater, we can develop custom patterns or genre's to create high impact experiences.But let's suppose we wanted to be a bit less ambitious while always doing something more than just helping patrons put a slide on a screen. Suppose we develop a two screen configuration where the current slide appears on a screen near the presenter and the immediate past slide appears many times larger on the back wall.  This would allow learners continued access to the immediate past slide in much larger format while still using the same kind of slide deck most presenters would bring with them.  At least this would be a place to start that might be friendly to the typical presenter while pushing to use the environment more actively.
