Book Suggestion
Recently we all read the book, Group Genius, by Keith Sawyer. An interesting discussion ensued about what makes group work effective and how the concepts discussed in the book could be applied to the EdLab. Our coworker, Dina, at the services desk, recently wrote a post on Pressible about another book in our collection that discusses group and team work. If you found Group Genius interesting, you may just want to check this book out. It was also brought to my attention that quite a few people weren't aware of our library website on Pressible. I wanted to take a moment to point everyone's attention to our library site. The site is entitled, Learning at the Library, and it keeps everyone up to date about library happenings. New books that are added to our collection are highlighted, research guides and library statistics are presented and questions that arise at the services desk are shared.
