What the NYT Pay Wall Really Costs
Khoi Vinh, until recently the design director of nytimes.com lays out some thoughts about what the Times is really costing itself with their implementation of the pay wall. He points out that this move is not likely to create any new customers for the times, instead it will appeal to those who would already subscribe to the paper. He also makes an interesting point about the products that could have been developed with the time and resources put towards the pay wall.
