Information and Discussion at the NYU Shanghai Campus
As we begin the section of the course on Data and the State, this article from the Chronicle on the experiences of two students at the NYU campus in Shanghai provides a concrete example of the impact of state control of information.  Note in particular both the extent and the limitations of such control.
