Maps
This artist is making a map of Manhattan out of all the hand-written directions he's received from strangers. Got me thinking of an alternative SiNY map in which sites are re-imagined by our interviewees' descriptions... (and also a tag-web of words and phrases used that visualize a real topography of educational/pedagogical/other possibilities? What would that look like? I mean, like a real map. With terrain. We'll definitely need compasses and scale.) http://www.thisiscolossal.com/2013/08/an-artist-is-assembling-a-map-of-manhattan-using-only-directions-drawn-by-strangers/?src=footer
