@08:24 Brian Sweeting I think this is a common reaction to economic anxiety. During the 2008 recession in the US, enrollment in higher ed programs increased. (Recession and Completion, Inside Higher Ed)

@19:30 dinosossi2 5-6% of Chinese GDP is spent on education. As a result, there is a great deal of discretionary spending for things like edtech devices and apps.
