Snapchat, more than any other social media, perhaps captures this contrast. The app is especially popular with teenagers. However, there is a surprisingly high number of higher ed institutions using the app in various forms. Most institutions see the platform as a great way to recruit students, enhance their brand and increase community engagement. With over 100 million daily users, the audience is certainly there for higher ed.
