Computer Science in Early Education
How do we best prepare today's students to become innovative thinkers? According to Pat Yongpradit, chief officer of code.org, computer is the foundation of all jobs and students must learn programming at an early age to set the bar. "This movement is about making sure that kids can use CS to learn, innovate, and express themselves in all interests and career fields" he said. As a computer engineering student myself, I strongly believe that students should have a basic knowledge of computer Science. Technology is here to stay whether we like it or not. As a result, we must educate our students so they can become the innovators of tomorrow.
