A Young Genius In The Field Of Stem
You are more likely to come across sports prodigies than science and engineering ones. Society tends to place more enthusiasm and energy into the next Michael Jordan than the next Steve Jobs. This is the case of Kelvin Doe. A self taught engineer from Sierra Leone, he created batteries and generators from materials he found around his house or at the garbage dump. By using trash for his own treasure, he was able to create his own radio station. Kelvin used his media platform to broadcast community news and play music under his radio name "DJ Focus". Kelvin's hardwork and persistence made him the youngest person to be invited to the "Visiting Practitioner's Program" at MIT.
