March is National Women's History Month
If you are looking for some great class and curriculum resources, the Department of Education has put together a collection of materials that focus on women in history to commemorate National Women's History Month. There are 36 women and subject areas identified in this section from colonial women to themes like the flow of women's work that include:
  • lesson plans,
  • information and materials, and
  • additional resources for classroom discussions, projects, research, etc.
This is a great collection to teach girls and boy about the significant roles that American women have played throughout the centuries. Additional information can be found on the Women's history project website.
