Know Your SWOT
While reading a book for my intro to marketing class, I stumbled upon a term, SWOT (Strength, Weakness, Opportunity, Threats). As I looked into the meaning of SWOT, I started to realize how important this term was to any marketer or entrepreneur. A marketer can have a strong company but won't be able to harness it if it ignores the principles of SWOT. If a marketer doesn't know what their weakness(s) are, then how can they improve. If they don't know their threat(s), they can't ready themselves to attack competitors. If a marketer doesn't know their opportunities, they won't have anything to utilize to even grow into another marketers' competition.
