Bio:

Scott is originally from Chicago, Illinois, but moved to Charlotte, North Carolina while in high school. He graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering. Currently, he is pursuing his Master's degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering at North Carolina State University. His research interests include Engineering Education, Educational Policy specifically in the STEM disciplines, Curriculum Improvement, and Globalization and its role in engineering disciplines. Scott has worked in government consulting roles, as well as undergraduate and graduate research institutions performing educational research in the fields of statistics, engineering management, and senior design projects. In addition, he has also done work in the analysis of engineering team dynamics in regards to innovate product design. In the future, he hopes to be involved in STEM educational policy decision making, or working in a field that enhances the way engineering education is carried out in the United States.
