Bio:

Joanna Fu was born and raised in New York City and has returned home after spending the last ten years living in Cambridge, Houston, and the Greater Philadelphia area. She divides her time between managing administrative services at the Gottesman Libraries and working with the EdLab on the Survey Sidekick and PocketKnowledge tools.

Prior to joining Teachers College, she worked at the Harvard Library and the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston. She received her B.A. in History of Art from Bryn Mawr College and a M.S. in Library and Information Science from Simmons College. Her studies have focused upon library assessment and international librarianship and she is very interested in education reform as well as the impact and potential benefits of gaming in the classroom.

In her spare time she enjoys running, baking desserts, learning how to bike, and playing the acoustic guitar.
