George is a graduate of Saint Peter’s College (Peacock Nation) in Jersey City, New Jersey, where he majored in political science. An EdLabber since December 2006, he started as an apprentice where he was charged with archiving over 100 years of education related material in addition to researching various topics about youth and their use of technology. His responsibilities include working with key project stakeholders to define deliverables, set timelines, and organize social marketing campaigns. He also serves as Book Review Coordinator for Teachers College Record where he requests relevant titles from education publishers, contacts professors and PhD candidates to contribute book reviews, respond to inquiries from authors, and provide other assistance to support the TCR production process and also collaborate with team members to plan activities to advance the development, implementation, and promotion of EdLab resources (e.g., Teaching the Levees) and learning applications (e.g., Survey Sidekick).
