Bio:

Daniel Vergara is a rising senior at Essex Street Academy in Lower Manhattan. A lifelong New York City resident, he enjoys spending time with his younger siblings and playing piano. He is affectionately nicknamed "Milito" after Argentine soccer player Diego Milito, and is a member of South Bronx United Soccer Club's U16s boys team, where he plays as a forward. He is working on various projects at the EdLab this summer, primarily archiving state curriculum materials from the early 20th century to make it easily accessible online. He plans to study psychology and business in college.
