Bio:

Erick Hungria is a senior at the High School of World Cultures at the James Monroe Campus in the Bronx. He emigrated to New York City from Ecuador about four years ago because his family wanted to seek new opportunities.

He is currently studying and improving his English as Spanish is his first language. His hobbies are spending time with his family and friends, listening to music and other forms of entertainment such as watching soccer and the Discovery Channel. His favorite hobby is "the beautiful game", football or soccer as it is known in the U.S.A. He hopes to gain a soccer scholarship for college and play professional one day. He is currently captain of his high school and a member of South Bronx United's U16 travel team.

He is working on a few projects at the EdLab this summer including inventory and digitizing over 100 years of state educational materials. He currently lives with his lovely family in the Bronx.
