Join me in this latest MOOC experiment from two Brigham Young university (BYU) professors, Richard Culatta from the Department of Ed and this roster of expert "facilitators" ranging from the CEO of Knewton to the lead Education designer from IDEO... should be MOOCiful (sorry!)!

Unfortunately, I find the name quite unoriginal. "edstartup.net". But I'm curious to see how the BYU professors and expert facilitators accomplish the vision of a MOOC that "focuses more on building community and learning together socially than on watching video clips and answering multiple choice questions"

Janice, great point re: the lame name! I am excited to see how they differentiate themselves from other MOOCs on the market... and most of all, how they build community! I will keep everyone posted!
