The details...
Secretary of Education Arne Duncan and his peers at the Ed Department have decided that August 2012 is Connected Educator Month! Through their site, the Dept. of Ed provides resources, contests and a white paper that proposes and outlines best practices for online communities of practice (attached below).

How can the EdLab get involved?
I plan to create and share vialogues with the official hash tag (#CE12) around topics ranging from STEM education, best practices and general interest vialogues that could be applied to education. Please add your vote for vialogues we should share to celebrate "connected" ed in the comments below! Happy #CE12!
