Yesterday I came across a page on the Long Island University Palmer school of Library and Information website featuring their Scholarly Communications and Information Innovation Lab. Is it becoming a trend to have technology laboratories that emphasize collaboration and innovation based out of libraries and library schools? It sounds like the LIU innovation lab is focusing on similar projects to the EdLab, including an online learning course, education and media, and the future of education. Does anyone have any knowledge of this lab and the work that it produces.
