Yesterday NYC's first-ever Chief Digital Officer released a 65-page document, The Road Map For The Digital City: Achieving New York City's Digital Future. Cool design elements... but the content will take a little longer to digest. What do you think?

I wonder how this roadmap and elements like iZone could synergize with the Common Core Standards http://www.corestandards.org/about-the-standards?

The Common Core outlines the following:
"When making mathematical models, technology is valuable for varying assumptions, exploring consequences, and comparing predictions with data.”

The parts about school (iZone) and its implications are pretty interesting, assuming the City can actually accomplish what they describe. They should have made an interactive movie thought instead of a PDF.
