I came across this trailer for a documentary about the Rubber Room in the Gothamist. Sounds like it mostly contains interviews with teachers who are stuck in the rubber room. After watching this trailer I don't have much faith in this being a fair representation of the issue.

I still think This American Life episode is one of the best reports on the subject.

I agree. I am not sure what to make of this project from the trailer. The TAL episode was really engaging and--like just about everything they do--creates a story that is rich with productive ambiguity. I feel that productive ambiguity is missing from these 4 and a half minutes, and because of this, I am not sure how the documentary will improve upon the TAL piece. Nonetheless, it might be worth checking out.
