The third Edit Jam will combine creative experimentation with After Ed production. With this event, we are continuing our work with video-based events, such as the second Edit Jam.

We will be partnering with a NYC high school to bring 30 students into the Edit Jam environment. Planning is currently underway, and will include pre-event and post-event visits to the partner school and collaboration with classroom teachers.

Each Edit Jam is a confluence of imaginative minds that explores new territories of collaborative production, where participants not only observe artists working, but also are invited to engage a creative circle. As an immersive aesthetic experience, Jams are unique educational experiences for exploring new technologies, media, and ideas.

Expected in attendance are video and graphic artists, After Ed producers, and DJs. Participants will play a role in the creative process by creating videos about the future of schooling on a variety of experimental workstations.

The event is hosted by the staff of After Ed. If you would like to attend, please RSVP to After Ed. Participate for 15 minutes or all 3 hours!
